Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026 · Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Broadcast Media Inc, doing business as EquityExpress.net (“EquityExpress,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://equityexpress.net (the “Site”), use our forms, participate in our text messaging program, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact form data: name, email address, topic, and message content when you contact us.
- SMS opt-in data: name, mobile phone number, the consent selections you make, and the date, time, and page of your opt-in when you join our text update program.
- Consultation requests: name, email address, and the questions or topics you describe.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, referring pages, approximate date and time of visits.
- Device data: browser type, operating system, screen characteristics, and IP address (which may indicate approximate geographic location).
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy, including a local preference used to remember your light/dark theme choice.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, health, or financial account data), and we ask that you not submit it through our forms.
2. Text messaging (SMS) privacy — no sale or sharing of opt-in data
Mobile opt-in information — including your phone number, opt-in status, and SMS consent — is NOT sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are shared only with the messaging platform provider(s) that deliver messages on our behalf, solely so those messages can be sent, and those providers are prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.
In connection with the EquityExpress.net text program, we use your mobile number and consent records only to:
- send the message types you consented to receive;
- honor HELP and STOP requests and maintain required opt-out lists;
- maintain records demonstrating consent, as messaging regulations require; and
- respond to your support requests.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. See our Messaging Terms for full program terms.
3. How we use personal information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
- To respond to inquiries, correction reports, and consultation requests;
- To deliver the text messages you have consented to receive;
- To monitor for fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use; and
- To understand aggregate usage of the Site so we can improve it.
We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: vendors that perform services for us — form processing (e.g., our form submission processor), messaging delivery, website hosting, and email — bound to use the information only to provide those services.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case the successor remains bound by commitments at least as protective as this Policy — including the SMS no-sale/no-share commitment in Section 2.
- With your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. For residents of states whose laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly to include some advertising practices, see Section 8 and our Do Not Sell or Share page. Regardless of any other practice, SMS opt-in data is never sold or shared as stated in Section 2.
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: contact and consultation messages for as long as needed to respond and maintain records of our correspondence; SMS consent and opt-out records for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with messaging laws (including after you opt out, so your opt-out is honored); and automatically collected usage data for a limited period. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access limitations, and reputable vendors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use judgment about what you submit through any online form.
7. Cookies, analytics, and Global Privacy Control
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy. Where we recognize a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by applicable state law.
8. U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of certain states — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and a growing number of others with comprehensive privacy laws — have rights that may include:
- Right to know/access: confirmation of whether we process your personal information and access to it;
- Right to correct: correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Right to delete: deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Right to portability: a copy of your personal information in a usable format;
- Right to opt out: of targeted advertising, “sale,” or “sharing” of personal information, and certain profiling; and
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
California (CCPA/CPRA) specifics
In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 (identifiers, internet activity, and inferences drawn from them), for the purposes in Section 3, disclosed to the recipients in Section 4. We do not sell personal information for money and do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf; we will require verification of the agent's authority.
How to exercise rights
Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request,” call 1-877-634-4111, or write to us at 1712 Pioneer Ave., Ste 500, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA. Tell us which right you are exercising and the state you reside in. We will verify your identity using the information you provide (typically by matching your email or phone number against our records) and respond within the time required by your state's law — generally 45 days, extendable where permitted. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word “Appeal,” and we will have a different reviewer evaluate it and respond within the statutory appeal period. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
9. GDPR / UK visitors
The Site is directed to a United States audience. If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, note that we process personal data on the legal bases of consent (forms and messaging), legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site), and legal obligation. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time, by contacting [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Data is processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age of majority for the messaging program, which requires users to be 18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
11. Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Site does not respond to DNT signals. We do honor GPC signals as described in Section 7.
12. Third-party links
Our guides may link to external websites, including government resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites; review their policies directly.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. We will never weaken the SMS no-sale/no-share commitment in Section 2 with retroactive effect.
